Additional Information

Our strategies for preventing and/or dealing with volunteer burnout
The Queensborough Bridge site was a barren patch of turf at the side of the freeway. With the incredible help of the community the area was transformed. Cedar trees form an appealing barrier from the view to the freeway and native understory species will slowly spread, providing habitat for a wide range of birds. To find out ways to get involved please contact Alyssa Semczyszyn at Evergreen, 604-689-0766 or email alyssa@evergreen.ca
