Our strategies for preventing and/or dealing with volunteer burnout
Renfrew Ravine is one of the only natural ravines within the City of Vancouver. Still Creek immerges from underground culverts at 29th Ave and flows north through the ravine to 22nd Ave where it again enters a constructed channel , past Renfrew community center and empties into Burnaby Lake. Stabilizing the creek banks, removing invasive plants, and re-planting with appropriate species are the major works being done to increase habitat and biodiversity in the ravine.
